Delete your account and data
This page explains how to request that your Receiptly (iReceiptly) account and associated data be permanently deleted. Receiptly is the receipt and payment-record app published on the App Store and Google Play under the developer name shown on the listing.
Steps to request account and data deletion
- Open the Receiptly (iReceiptly) app on your device.
- Go to Settings (gear icon or settings in the app menu).
- Open the Account tab.
- Tap Delete Account (shown in red).
- Read the confirmation message and tap Delete to confirm.
Note: If you signed in more than a few minutes ago, the app may ask you to sign in again before you can delete your account. Sign out, sign back in with your phone number, then repeat the steps above.
What we delete
When you delete your account, we permanently delete the following data associated with your account:
- Your account and profile (phone number, user ID, login information)
- All payment and receipt records
- Subscription and purchase information (e.g. Pro status)
- Usage data (e.g. counters used for limits)
- Custom categories and templates you created
What we keep
We do not retain your personal data or app data after your account is deleted. There is no additional retention period: deletion is permanent.
Our service providers (such as Google, for authentication and cloud storage) may retain data in line with their own policies (for example, backups or legal obligations). We do not use your deleted data for any purpose after you request deletion.
Need help?
If you cannot delete your account from within the app (for example, you no longer have the device or the app installed), contact us via Support or the developer contact listed on the App Store or Google Play listing for Receiptly. We will process your deletion request in line with this policy.
